‘Mr. Robot’ Finale Postponed Due To Graphic Similarities To Virginia Shooting

USA Network's 'Mr. Robot' finale will no longer be aired on Wednesday night as scheduled.

'Mr. Robot' is a psychological thriller that revolves around a vigilant hacker. Due to a graphic scene similar to the tragic deaths of a TV reporter and cameraman, it's season Finale has been postponed until next Wednesday, i.e. September 2, 2015.

"The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today's tragic events in Virginia," conveyed the Mr. Robot team via a Facebook Post.

They added, "Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight's episode. Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time."

A shooter had open fired at WDBJ News' crew, while they were interviewing a Vicki Gardner, for the channel's morning showing. The shooter gunned down cameraman Adam Ward, 27 and reporter Alison Parker, 24 on live TV. The entire incident was out on social media after the gunman posted the videos of the attack on Twitter and Facebook.

The gunman later committed suicide as his car crashed during a police chase.

Vicki Gardner, the local business women being interviewed was also shot. She was reported to be in stable condition after surgery.

"Reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were killed by former station employee Vester L. Flanagan II," reported CNN News. Their reporters revealed that Flanagan "had worked as a television reporter under the name Bryce Williams."

Mr. Robot has become a surprise hit this summer, which stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater. "It revolves around the life of a neurotic IT expert who is drafted by an underground group of hackers to fight corporate corruption", reported Independent.co.uk.

"HitFix TV critic Alan Sepinwall confirmed the (Mr. Robot) finale contains a ...very graphic on-camera shooting,'' the report added.

USA Network informed that 'Mr. Robot' Finale would be aired on next Wednesday, September 2 at 10/9c.
