Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea has reportedly "made a decision" to move out of her adopted mother's New York home. She packed up to leave on the day of her 18th birthday in order to live with her birth mother Deanna Micoley.
Chelsea was picked up bu Deanna against Rosie's wishes and driven to her home in Wisconsin, reported TMZ.
Chelsea, who is one of five siblings could be absent from Rosie's home forever. "This was her (Chelsea's) choice," Rosie's representative told Access Hollywood.
A day ahead of Chelsea's departure Rosie had lost her father Edward O'Donnell to cancer. The TV Comedian had refused to hand over her birth certificate and social security card. She had even pleaded her not to go.
"Chelsea's move on Monday came less than a week after she was found in the home of Steven Sheerer, 25," reported Dailymail.co.uk. They added that Steven was a criminal who had been arrested for endangering a child.
Sheerer, a convicted heroine dealer exclaimed that he had replied on "Tinder to ensure that the girl was of legal age", reported TMZ.
"I'm concerned, she's going to be 18 next week and can make her own decisions," Deanna said on August 20. "But I'm just worried about her well-being and what's going to happen to her," she added.
Deanna gave up Chelsea for adoption will she was only two months old. In an interview with Daily Mail Online, she dismissed the idea that her plans were in anyway related to Chelsea's escape.
"I (Deanna) last spoke to Chelsea on 8th August and our conversation was that she was going to come and see me in September," Deanna said. She continued, "It wasn't a secret meeting. It had nothing to do with her running away; we were just planning on meeting."
Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea is the second eldest of her children. She had been adopted when Rosie was dating her first wife Kelli Carpenter.
