The Cleveland Cavaliers is willing to let Tristan Thompson go for Markieff Morris, if the recent NBA trade rumors are to be believed.

"If [Thompson] is on the qualifying offer, [this] will be his last year with the Cavs," agent Rich Paul told ESPN.

The player insisted that if Cleveland Cavaliers continue to force him to accepting a one-year contract, he may just consider switching teams.

Multiple reports claimed that the NBA star is looking to secure a $94 million over the next five years. The Cavs, however, has refused to give in to Thompson's demands thinking he was worth significantly less.

The Cleveland Cavaliers has agreed to pay Tristan Thompson $80 million, when the athlete suddenly changed his mind, reported Sports World.

It was said that Thompson can opt to become a free agent by signing a one-year qualifying offer worth $6.8 million. The athlete will reportedly make his final decision after the training camp next month.

On the other hand, the Phoenix Suns are also no longer satisfied with Markieff Morris' performance.

"He has called out the fans, he's become an enemy of the front office and has gone full Kevin Love on the Suns the way the current Cavs star did to the Timberwolves last summer," reported Fansided.

"Basically, there is no future in Phoenix for Morris and something is going to happen one way or the other to rectify the situation."

The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that Markieff Morris going to Cleveland Cavaliers may just be the solution to their contract dispute.

"There's no reason a Thompson for Morris trade shouldn't happen," Fansided pointed out.

"Cleveland saves on what they'd have to pay Thompson and the Suns get rid of a headache and acquire a possible All-Star in exchange."
