The new teaser of second season of "Gotham" is here and by the looks of it, fans are looking forward to the upcoming season that promises to have a fair share of adventure.

The first season of "Gotham" narrated the stories, which DC fans were expecting to see on television screen. Fans, who never read any of the Batman's comic, finally got a chance to understand the dark side of Gotham. Along with that came the evolution of Bruce Wayne. At the end of first season, we saw young Bruce heading towards a cave which he found undeneath the 'Wayne Manner'.

"Gotham" Season 2 Plot Spoliers:

The latest teaser of "Gotham" Season 2 gives us a glimpse of a billionaire orphan Bruce Wayne (played by David Maouz) and Alfred as they both descend towards a long forgotten staircase. The duo then face an ornate steel door with a keypad entry. In the trailer we hear Bruce Wayne saying, "You can't have the truth, unless you have a true calling." This shows that "Gotham" Season 2 dubbed as "Rise of the Villains" promises to focus on Bruce Wayne's evolution into Batman.

This statement from Bruce Wayne reveals a leap forward for the character in "Gotham" Season 2 and by the feel of the trailer it looks like young Bruce will finally understand the meaning of work his father was doing before he got shot down. The first season of "Gotham" mainly focused on how Jim Gordon [Ben McKenzie] and his partner Harvey Bullock [Donal Logue] cleaned up the city. The show also showed in depth evolution of Batman's villains like Ridler and Penguin. "Gotham" Season 1 had fans complaining that they didn't get to see too much of Bruce Wayne.

The images of the new updated cast for second season of "Gotham" includes Michael Chiklis who is going to play the role of Captain Barnes, Chris Chalk who is going to reprise his role of Lucius Fox. Along with these two characters, "True Blood" star James Frain and "Gracepoint" star Jessica Lucas will be joining the cast as Theo and Tabitha Galvan respectively."Gotham" Season 2 will premiere on September 21, 2015.
