Rumors of Serena Williams dating Drake just won't die and this time a mainstream news outlet has confirmed the news.

According to E!, "things are heating up" between Patrick Mouratoglou's rumored gilfriend and the Canadian rapper.

Apparently, Serena Williams' friends "approve of the pair."

Drake was also described as a "true gentleman" and "very supportive" of Serena Wiliams career.

E! added that Serena Williams and Drake wanted to keep their dating relationship private, even if it's going to be difficult to do so with their high-profile personalities.

The source claimed, "They are both private people when it comes to their personal lives."

Photos published on TMZ showed the world's number one and the Canadian rapper getting cozy with each other.

Apparently, Selena Williams and Drake went on a dinner date at the posh Sotto restaurant after her win at the Cincinnati WTA tournament.

"The two had a private room in the back of the eatery -- where they couldn't keep their hands and lips off of each other ... while several patrons watched," TMZ said. "People inside the restaurant tell us the two were joined by 6 other people ...and at one point ordered a round of tequila shots for the table."

Serena Williams and Drake have not released any statement on the reports that they are dating, but the world's number one addressed the question about the Canadian rapper during a presser for the Cinci tournaments.

SB Nation pointed out to the Twitter post from WTA Insider where Serena Williams was asked about Drake and she revealed that they played tennis often, and the rapper is quite a good player, as a matter of fact.

"We actually hit several times," she said. "He said he played tennis when he was younger. I thought, really, of all sports. So he's always been kind of been into tennis. So we hit a lot. Not a lot, but we used to hit a lot. Yeah, he's really good. He says he can take me lefty, which gets me charged up."
