In the aftermath of Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral, Whitney Houston's family and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, are allegedly wrangling over her $20 million inheritance.

On one side, there's Pat and Cissy Houston-who were named her legal guardian-and the other involves Bobby Brown and his family. But Nick Gordon reportedly wants in on the money, which is temporarily put under the control of Belinda Hargrove, the conservator appointed by the court.

The problem is Bobbi Kristina Brown's death was too sudden and she didn't manage to craft a will. If that's true, then the court might follow Whitney Houston's will in distributing her inheritance, which means the diva's mother, Cissy Houston, and her two brothers Michael and Gary Houston would be the direct benefiaries.

"Of course, the two Houston matriarchs - Cissy and Pat Houston - would undoubtedly control every aspect of their inheritance," said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

The article added, "However, it's not that easy. Inheritance laws vary from state to state. Whitney Houston's will stands to govern the money, unless it is disputed in court."

It was earlier reported that Nick Gordon is trying to cash in on Bobbi Kristina Brown's death by approving the screenplay for Whitney Houston's biopic for a handsome fee.

"The family is sickened by this," the source told Radar Online. "They just want to be left alone to deal with the loss of a very young and valuable member of the family, but at the same time they understand the demand from fans to have their story told from an accurate standpoint."

Nick Gordon was sued for $10 million for domestic violence and for reportedly stealing from Bobbi Kristina Brown's inheritance. He was also accused of wrongful death after his alleged involvement in Whitney Houston's daughter's death.
