Many Spice Girls fans are highly anticipating the group's alleged reunion in the works.
However, if ever the Spice Girls reunion does push through, fans of the 90s girl group may only be witnessing performances from four members.
Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice is allegedly not on board the project. According to Daily Mail, David Beckham's wife "will sit the trek out, deciding to focus on her ever-expanding global fashion brand instead."
Other Spice Girls members - Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice, Geri Halliwel aka Ginger Spice, Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice, and Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice - have been keeping their lips sealed about the reported reunion.
Are they waiting for Posh Spice to get on board before announcing anything?
"If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know," Emma Bunton reportedly said on an interview with Heart FM, as quoted by BBC.
Amid rumors that only four members might be joining the reunion, an insider said Mel B and Mel C are especially trying very hard to convince Posh Spice to commit.
"Mel is not planning on taking no for an answer from Victoria anymore," a source close to Mel C reportedly told Dish Nation. "For years she has publicly and privately laughed off the notion of a comeback especially after the Olympics. But now Mel has told the other girls that this is a 'one more show and done' type deal.
"This anniversary is realistically the last chance for them to go out as girls. Mel B and C are the driving force, and have tasked the other girls to keep on it with Posh."
"But both of the Mels feel they can change her mind... It would easily generate $30 million. Other offers on the table include a Las Vegas residency and a short UK and European tour," the source dished.
Though the Spice Girls reunion project could possibly still push through with just four members, a lot of fans will love to see their songs performed with all of them complete on stage.
