Reminiscent of the Kyrie Irving's Uncle Drew series for Pepsi Max, Charlotte Hornets point guard Jeremy Lin took on a disguise as an inept and overweight fitness instructor named Wayne in a prank video for Adidas.

The six-minute video, which also stars Taiwanese star Vaness Wu as Vincent, features an overweight Linsanity offering bad advice-and just being a pest-to unsuspecting patrons at a local gym.

At one point, Jeremy Lin had to sneak out back because he couldn't stop laughing when Vaness Wu started to straddle one neophyte who doesn't know what he was doing while trying to bench press.

The two also barged into a zumba class and started annoying the other female dancers.

But Jeremy Lin found himself in an embarrassing position when he made a bet with a Taiwanese gold medalist (whom he didn't recognize but was introduced to him at the end of the clip) that he couldn't lift the barbell deadweight. Of course he lost, and for that he had to do 10 pushups.

The new Charlotte Hornets point guard actually has quite a sense of humor as evidenced by his Vines videos.

Last year, Linsanity posted a series of clips on his Instagram where he dunked on everybody with the hashtag #JLinDunkCam.

One of the videos showed Jeremy Lin dunking on his surprised mom on the kitchen with the help of his siblings.

However, Jeremy Lin is serious about the upcoming season for the Charlotte Hornets where he signed a two-year contract for a little more than $2 million a year.

Linsanity's shooting coach revealed that the point guard will try to prove his critics wrong on his shooting ability.

"We worked on his jump shot," Doc Scheppler told Hoops Habit. "Basically he was getting his shot off too slow. So we worked on speeding up his release."

"Another reason his shooting percentage was down last year was he got tired in games because he was putting too much power in his legs when he shot. We worked to correct that, too."
