'Muppets Show' stars Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog announced their break-up formally after being together for nearly four decades. According to the latest rumors, Kermit the Frog is already romancing Denise, the new executive in the marketing department. On the other hand, Miss Piggy is still single and is seen with different suitors. She appeared in a picture with "Hunger Games" star, Liam Hemsworth and now she is with Nathan Fillion from "Castle."
Liam Hemsworth posted a picture earlier with Miss Piggy flashing Instragram feed as "Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world. Kermit, #SorryNotSorry." According the Daily Mail, the latest controversy between Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy flashed through the promo for Miss Piggy's late night show. It showed how things are uncomfortable between the former couple and are increasingly getting awkward
The new clip shows Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog's 2015 relationship in a new light. Kermit has moved on and has a new girlfriend but he catches "Firefly" actor Nathan Fillion sneaking out of Miss Piggy's trailer. The incident left Kermit shocked.
People Magazine reported, Kermit has denied his possible alliance with the younger pig, Denise. He said his relationship with Denise is clearly platonic and has nothing to do with his split up with Ms. Piggy.
NY Daily News cited this is not the first time that the 'four-decade old' relationship has halted. It has happened earlier too in an on-again, off-again. "They've actually been broken up at least as long as they've been together," said NY Daily News.
"And while we the fans are hurt by this callous change of relationship status, there’s one person who we really shouldn’t worry about — and that’s Miss Piggy herself," MTV reported. "Seriously though, Miss Piggy has always been a beacon of strong independent thought. She don’t need no frog by her side to make her happy. She can do bad all by herself and she’s proved it time and time again."
