"Equals" co-stars Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart had been found cozying up together at the Red Carpet premiere of their futuristic love story at Venice Film Festival on Saturday. The "Twilight" actress leaned into the tall and strapping British actor while posing in front of the cameras and crowd at the festival.
Kristen had picked a silver Chanel dress for the occasion. She teamed it up with a pair of Louboutin shoes and vampy red lip shade. Her co-star, Nicholas looked gorgeous in a sharp black tuxedo with a black bow tie. Director Drake Doremus had also joined them at the event.
Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart, the "Equals" co-stars are rumored to be dating each other. Though, none of them has spoken about it, their starry eyed romantic grazes seemed to have spelled it all.
According to Daily Mail, Kristen, who is usually stone-faced broke into smiles as she made her way down the carpet along with her costar Nicholas.
Page Six reported that the "Equals" costars, Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart had "stuck together" all night during a Cinema society event at Omar's in New York. The party was attended by Juliette Binoche, Patti Smith and Viggo Mortensen, who revealed that the couple appeared to be "affectionate." However, Kristen denied it.
"Equals" is a dystopian remake of George Orwell's 1984, Daily Mail reported. It revolves around a utopian society where human emotions have been eradicated and relationships have been outlawed. In the movie, both Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart suffer from a Switched-On-Syndrome, which has no cure.
Kristen plays Nia and Nicholas plays Silas, who fall for each other and try to break-free from their futuristic world.
"I was nervous going into the movie because of how simple it is and overtly emotional," Kristen told Deadline. She added, "I'm 25. I've been through some stuff and I knew it was going to be painful and I knew if I didn't do it right I would have hated myself." She admitted that playing the part was tough for her because "wears her heart on her sleeve." So, she found it hard to control her emotions while shooting for the film.
Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart are the leading actors in "Equals." The movie was initially slated to be released in September '15.
