The British star, Robert Pattinson may able to do a good American accent, but the "Twilight" star wants everyone to know he is a British.
In an interview with Elle France, the 29-years-old actor was asked about the 'worst thing someone has said.' The actor responded, "It's going to make you laugh, but as a Brit, to hear someone say I'm American is the worst insult! I am English! Let it be known once and for all!"
Most of Robert Pattinson's fan already knows his heritage and they will not be surprised to hear him talk about his life in England. The actor added that he lives between Los Angeles and London but when he is in London, he feels he is at home. "It's the same everywhere in Europe. The other day I was strolling around Paris, and nobody bothered me," reported by Elle France.
Robert Pattinson blames the social media and internet for making his life a living hell. According to him, in 2008, everybody had a cell phone and everyone started to use social media. This made the lives of celebrities a living hell. "Not only were all these paparazzi camping outside my house but [there was] this new horde of fans who relayed information on social media. It became unmanageable," he added in his interview with Elle France
Rob also noted that at some point he became paranoid. He did not go out of his house in Los Angeles because he was afraid what media will talk about him next.
Robert Pattinson's ex-girlfriend and "Twilight" co-star, Kristen Stewart thinks the same. In an interview with Nylon Magazine, as reported by E! News, the 25-years-old American actress said that there was a time when she thought that she was in a weekly comic book. "I have this assigned personality, which I helped create, I suppose," Kristen added.
