Tom Cruise was beaming while posing at the red carpet during the Beijing Fan Screening for "Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation on Monday.

Katie Holmes' ex-husband was joined at the red carpet by co-star Rebecca Ferguson and the director Christopher McQuarrie.

China is emerging to be a huge market for Hollywood. "Terminator Genisys," for example, earned over $80 million in just eight days in China, which almost equaled its earnings in the North American market.

Tom Cruise looked dapper in a black shirt and brown slacks, while his 31-year-old co-star opted for a structured dress.

"On Sunday the mega star wore a green sweater with a pair of grey trousers, as he appeared alongside Rebecca at a promo trail of the same film in China," Daily Mail reported. "Tom put his muscular torso on full display in his choice of attire, looking smart in mahogany shoes and slim fitting trousers for his appearance."

According to Deadline, the Tom Cruise starrer already surpassed the $500 million mark.

"This is without China which opens on Tuesday. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol's final tally was $694.7M; $101M of which came from the Middle Kingdom," it said. "With expansion in that market since 2011, and a partnership with Alibaba Pictures and China Movie Channel, Rogue Nation will well outpace that (Terminator is currently at $108.8M after three China frames)."

The 53-year-old Tom Cruise has been on the headlines lately, not for his "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" film, but rather his alleged relationship with his assistant Emily Thomas, 22.

However, Emily Thomas shot down the rumors after posting several photos on her social media account of her real boyfriend, Alex Roberts, whom she met during the shooting of "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.

"They have been dating for just five months but in that time have enjoyed romantic trips to Rome, Venice, Miami, Atlanta and Abu Dhabi, where they smoked shisha pipes late into the night," noted Daily Mirror.
