The Houstons, who's reportedly fighting with the Brown family over Bobbi Kristina's $20 million inheritance, are also trying to ward off Nick Gordon's plans to also get a share of the fortune.
"Since Bobbi did not leave a will, the seemingly never-ending inheritance courtesy of Whitney's royalties has had the Houstons and the Browns feuding, but the Houston family is preparing for Nick Gordon's next publicity stunt and attempt to get a portion of multimillion dollar inheritance," said Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
Nick Gordon is facing a $10 million lawsuit after he allegedly stole from Bobbi Kristina Brown's inheritance, as well as domestic violence issues. The 22-year-old then hired expensive attorneys as his legal team.
But how can Nick Gordon pay for their attorneys' fees?
Apparently, acccording to Page Six, Nick Gordon pulled a publicity stunt where he visited Bobbi Kristina Brown's death and selling the photo to the tabloids.
"'Grieving' Nick Gordon - who was banned from girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown's funeral by her dad, Bobby Brown, and is facing a wrongful-death suit in her catastrophic passing - was paid $40,000 for photos and video of his so-called 'secret pilgrimage' to her grave," the report said.
CDL said that Nick Gordon thinks that he should have some share on the $20 million inheritance of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
"It was proven that Nick and Bobbi were never legally married. Plus, The Houstons and Browns all want the inheritance money for themselves. Whitney's immediately family, Pat and Cissy Houston, stand to win control and rights to the money, thanks to the requests per Whitney's will," the article added.
Meanwhile, Nick Gordon denied having a hand in Bobbi Kristina Brown's death.
"On Tuesday, Gordon's attorney filed a response ... denying most of the allegations in the complaint, including that he 'perpetrated the fraud that he had married Bobbi Kristina' and used that misrepresentation ... to "benefit from her wealth,'" People reported.
