Apple Inc has created ripples in the tech-world especially among novel mobile phones and tablets. Wednesday, 09 Sep was no different! Apple unveiled not only new gadgets and devices but also gave fresh bargains on its existing products, reported NBC News.
Fresh iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were launched that carry the same external dimensions but will boast of new 12 MP camera, faster chips, new colors and the force-sensitive "3D Touch." The new phone left many social media commenter, investors, and analysts underwhelmed, reported, CNN.
The new iPad Pro as unveiled with a 12.9 inch screen and Chief Executive Tim Cook commented that it can work similar to a desktop when paired with a "smart" keyboard and a brand new "Pencil" aka stylus. Tech watchers were left surprised with the new stylus as Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc, once called pen-style devices as "yuck" and something that nobody would ever want, said BBC UK.
The new iPencil or the Stylus is round in shape which means it could roll off easily anytime. It doesn't come out until November and will cost more than $100. Moreover, it will work only after buying the new iPad Pro. If Apple Bosses are to be believed, the pen is powerful and charges super fast.
It also launched the much rumoured iPad Pro that features 12.9 inch retine display powered by a new A9X chip which makes the device faster than 80% of the portable PCs. iPad Pro will start at $799, matching the price point of the Surface Pro 3, reported Fool.com
Other Apple deals included launching the new iPad Mini 4 that packs the power of iPad into a smaller 7.9 inch body starting at $399. It also lowered prices of older models iPhone 6 and 6 Plus prices by $100 and now available at $549 and $649 respectively. All those still using iPhone 5S will be free from two-year contract or $450 for an outright purchase. Apple TV did not get much price cut as it was already lowered earlier in March this year.
