According to Mirror, Jay Z and Beyoncé's L.A. home had been sold for a whopping $35.5 million. Reports said that the couple had been renting the 16,000 square feet estate since February '15 for $150,000 a month. TMZ reported that the couple had been given 60 days to clear it up and move out.

Daily Mail reported that the musical pair had rented the property as they were not able to find a home to their liking. The "Jay Z and Beyoncé L.A. Home" had an outdoor pool, expansive grounds and magnificent rooms.

Reports said that the power couple had even been offered a chance to outbid the new owners, but they declined.

An insider told that the 34-year-old rap icon had earlier managed to ask the owner's to bring down the asking price from $200,000 to $150,000. The knock-down was made on an agreement basis, which stated that the couple would stay in for a long term, a minimum of 12 months at the "Jay Z and Beyoncé L.A. home."

The pop diva and rap star have reportedly found their new palace in Beverly Hills, Bel Air or in Holmby, Belfasttelegraph reported. Reporters said that a "house hunt" could be an easy way to shirk out the rumors about their divorce.

The couple had allegedly been sailing through a rough patch, since Beyoncé's sister Solange and Jay had a disagreement at the Met Gala in 2014. Earlier this year, Shanica Knowles, Beyoncé's cousin shunned the rumors. She said that the "A-list power couple" was solid.

"They don't even mention the elevator incident anymore," Shanica told British magazine Heat. She added, "It isn't spoken about and everyone has moved on from it. Despite all the rumors over the past year, her and Jay have remained united and worked on things behind closed doors."

Apart from hunting a new family home for baby Blue Ivy, Beyoncé had been planning collaboration with "Naughty Boy." While, Roc Nation, Jay's label had already signed DJ Shahid Khan for their upcoming venture, Mirror reported.

Moving out of the "Jay Z and Beyoncé L.A. home" could be an opportunity for the musical couple to buy their own palace.
