According to gaming news from GameRevolution.com, the PS4 vs. Xbox One is no comparison for "Star Wars Battlefront Beta" because the latter has a much lower resolution than the former. While the PS4 runs at 900p, the Xbox One has a meager resolution of 720p.
On a broader gaming landscape, next generation gaming consoles are hitting the 2-year anniversary milestone. By now developers should be meeting the high standards established for most games.
The PS4 vs. Xbox One rivalry continues this year with the "Star Wars Battlefront Beta" slated to sell at high volumes. However, users are not quite happy with the resolution on this game. While the PS4's 900p is better than the resolution on the Microsoft console, it is still short of resolution on other AAA games that are already on 1080p.
The Xbox One Star Wars game has blurry edges and runs on 700p, failing the expectations of console users with blurry edges and unsatisfactory images.
According to one gaming analyst, Xbox One's poor performance on "Star Wars Battlefront Beta" is coupled with network disconnection problems. Though these problems are unlike Xbox online gaming, Micrsoft will have to compete with Sony's expansive marketing strategy for PS4, the Star Wars PS4 bundle.
But there is one solution to the PS4 vs. Xbox One console clarity problems that will take some tome to resolve since Microsoft is planning to push its version of the Star Wars game in a month. If game enthusiasts want to experience a higher level of resolution at 1440p, the PC comes to the rescue. It can also support higher settings and is currently dubbed the "ultimate form of the game,"
"Developers are being lazy, and rushing product to coincide with the holidays and all the hype of the recently announced Star Wars news of the new movie, said comment on GameRevolution.
"Yes granted both consoles are different in architecture, it's still very clear BOTH are capable of running games at 1080p. Developers really need to quit this bull cheese and put in some stronger work ethic."
