Han Ga In and her husband Yun Jung Hoon met on the set of the 2003 drama, "Yellow Handkerchief." His character taught her character about the meaning of love and together they faced many obstacles. They enjoyed playing a couple so much, they decided to become one in real life.
Han and Jun began to date while they were still filming and two years later married. They have yet to regret it.
Han Ga In, 31, says marrying Yun Jung Hoon was the best decision she ever made. They have managed to keep their marriage strong despite demanding career schedules.
Yun, 35, who is known for his work in "East of Eden," "Vampire Prosecutor," "Vampire Prosecutor 2" and "I Summon You Gold," was asked last year if he managed to survive the seven-year-itch, that point in a marriage when some men's attention begins to wander.
"It never happened," he said. He is still in love with his wife and finds her attractive.
He thinks that the actress, who starred in the drama "The Moon Embracing the Sun" and the film "Architecture 101," is much prettier without makeup. One of his hobbies is photography and he loves to take pictures of her.
"I want to capture her every moment but my wife is an actress," he said. "I can't just take pictures of her whenever I like. Personally I think she is prettier without makeup but I also like to photograph her when she is made up."
Han Ga In approves of his photography, as it is less dangerous than his other hobbies, car racing and water sports. She also doesn't like him to stay out past midnight without her.
Yun doesn't seem to mind such friendly nagging but says his wife sometimes intimidates his friends.
When she is busy filming, he does the housework. She makes it up to him by cooking him special dishes.
"The shooting schedule for "The Moon Embracing The Sun" was so packed I was only able to go home once a week," said Han. "On the days I was able to go home, everything in the house from the laundry to the cleaning would be done."
One important decision they arrived at as a couple was not to watch each other's dramas. He did not want to see "The Moon Embracing the Sun," especially his wife's kissing scene.
"In the past we watched each other's work," he said. "But then it became uncomfortable, so we stopped. I did the housework when it was on."
The couple recently decided that they were ready to have children.
"We hope to conceive a baby in 2013 and have it born the following year, so the baby will have the same zodiac sign as me, the horse."
They care less about the sex of the child.
"I want a girl but my wife wants a son," said Yun. Either way, it should be one beautiful baby.
