According to Gamespot.com, "Doctor Who ('s)" Companion Jenna Coleman had announced that she would be exiting the show soon. There had been rumors earlier this week that "Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman)" could be exiting BBC's sci-fi adventure series, but the news had now been confirmed.

"It's been in the works for a very long time," "Doctor Who ('s)" Companion Jenna told Nick Grimshaw on BBC's "Radio 1 Show." She added, "Steven (show runner Stephen Moffat) and I sat down a year and a half ago and tried to work out the best place to do it, and the best place to tell a really good story. Hopefully that's what we've done."

"I think it's really cool," Jenna said while she was on-air . "Obviously we're not going to give away any details, but it will happen at some point this season."

"Doctor Who ('s)" Companion Jenna Coleman had joined the show in 2012. At that time Matt Smith played the "Doctor," but in 2014 current star Peter Capaldi had took over. Her decision to exit from the "Doctor Who" concured with the announcement that she had been picked to play Queen Victoria in ITV's eight-part mini-series.

"I have left the Tardis - it's happened," "Doctor Who ('s)" Companion Jenna told. She said that she was delighted to play the young and ambitious Queen Victoria as she would ascend to the throne. She described Her Majesty as a "vivid, strong, inspirational and utterly fascinating woman in British history," and she was eager to play the part.

BBC reported that ITV's drama "Victoria" would throw light on the early years of the queen's 63 year reign. It would also depict the monarch's courtship and marriage to Prince Albert.

"Doctor Who ('s)" Companion Jenna Coleman said that ITV's "Victoria" would be filmed in locations around the North of England. She further said that she had to learn to Waltz and play Beethoven for her upcoming portrayal.
