Emmy Awards 2015 is to be held on Sunday, 20 September, 2015 which will be aired at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox and pre-show at 6 p.m. on E!

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" fame Comedian and star Andy Samberg will be hosting the most anticipated show. When Samberg was asked how to expect the show to be, he noted that "We've got a silly crew," "I think we're going to find a good balance. You don't want it to be too silly or too meta to the point where it feels like we're not taking the show seriously," according to CBS News.

"Game of Thrones," "Veep," "Mad Men," "House of Cards," tops the nomination list for the awards among other renowned series. To be eligible for Emmy Awards the series should have been aired between June 1, 2014 and May 31, 2015, noted CBS News. Among tens of hundreds of stars and celebrities in the event Kevin Spacey, Amy Poehler, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kerry Washington Tina Fey and few others will occupy the front row.

Drama series nominated for Emmy Awards 2015 Include Better Call Saul, Mad Men, Homeland, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones,Orange Is the New Black and House of Cards. Outstanding comedy series nomination list include Silicon Valley, Louie, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Modern Family, Veep, Parks and Recreation and Transparent.

Nominees for lead actress in a comedy Series include Amy Poehler in "Parks and Recreation," Lisa Kudrow in "The Comeback," Lily Tomlin in "Grace and Frankie," Amy Schumer in "Inside Amy Schumer," Edie Falco in "Nurse Jackie" and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss in "Veep"

Nominees for lead actor in a drama series include Bob Odenkirk in "Better Call Saul," Jon Hamm in "Mad Men," Kevin Spacey in "House of Cards," Liev Schreiber in"Ray Donovan," Jeff Daniels in "The Newsroom" and Kyle Chandler in "Bloodline." Nominees for lead actor in a comedy Series include Will Forte in "Last Man on Earth," Matt LeBlanc in "Episodes," Louis C.K. in "Louie," William H. Macy in "Shameless," Anthony Anderson in "Black-ish" Jeffrey Tambor in "Transparent," and Don Cheadle in "House of Lies."

And the nominees for lead actress in a drama Series Tatiana Maslany, "Orphan Black" Claire Danes in "Homeland," Elisabeth Moss in "Mad Men," Viola Davis in "How to Get Away With Murder," Robin Wright in "House of Cards and Taraji P. Henson in "Empire"
