The honeymoon phase for Benedict Cumberbatch and wife Sophie Hunter is reportedly over and rumors are flying that they are headed for a divorce.

According to the latest issue of Star magazine, as shared by Celebitchy, just seven months into their marriage, and after welcoming their son, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are on the verge of divorce.

The source claimed, "They bicker all the time. Instead of his success bringing them joy, it's completely gone to his head."

"Even when he's home, it's really only in body, not mind. Sophie just wants him to let up a little so she doesn't feel like a single parent," it added.

CDL reported that he Star Magazine's article is right on one thing and that is Benedict Cumberbatch has a lot on his plate.

"In the past year his BBC One TV Show Sherlock's fanbase has been growing by leaps and bounds, he became a married man, and a first time father to their newborn son Christopher. So, in the British actor's defense - we can see why he would be a bit overwhelmed," it said.

But the article added that Benedict Cumberbatch should know how to prioritize because his wife, Sophie Hunter, or their son should not come second to his career, which is only going to get bigger.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter tied the knot on Valentine's Day this year. They welcomed their first son, Christopher, in June this year.

"Cumberbatch and Hunter's engagement was announced the charmingly old-fashioned way, with a notice placed in the London Times in early November. Less old-fashioned was the reveal two months later that Hunter was pregnant with their first child together-but Cumberbatch was aglow with the bloom of love regardless," said E! News.
