David Beckham and Tom Cruise have been friends for years. And now, their relationship has allegedly turned from mere buddies into a mentor and apprentice kind of thing.
According to a source, David Beckham is allegedly planning to start a career making movies, and the former athlete allegedly sought the help of Tom Cruise to help him get ready.
"Becks feels he is now ready to have a shot at Hollywood thanks to his pal Tom," an insider told Dish Nation. "For the past few years he has been getting advice on what to do on camera."
Tom Cruise is allegedly more than willing to help the former soccer player. With numerous movies under his belt, Katie Holmes' ex-husband may be more than qualified to give acting tips to David.
Tom Cruise has reportedly been monitoring David Beckham's progress over the years, and is allegedly giving him the green light to start making movies.
"Tom has spent time discussing screen focus, posture and speech. Tom feels he is ready. Tom is such a good pal that he has told Becks can speed dial him immediately if he has concerns," the source added.
