Netflix original crime drama series "Narcos" have had a strong reception, both from the viewers and the critics. Netflix renews the series based on the biggest drug empire in the human history for another season. There are many speculations regarding the season 2, mostly how Pablo Escobar will run his empire when both FBI and CIA are tracking his every move.
According to Deadline, the 42-years-old Eric Lange, who is famous for his roles as Mr. Sikowitz in "Victorious," and as Stuart Radzinsky in "Lost" has signed on to become a series regular for Netflix's crime drama TV series. Eric Lange will play the role of Stechner, Medellin's Special Agent in Charge by the CIA. Stechner will be working along with the DEA in their attempt to shut down Medellin Cartel and to capture their kingpin, Pablo Escobar (played by Wagner Moura).
Netflix "Narcos" is based on the real-life story of drug lord, Pablo Escobar and the United States' DEA agents, Steve Murphy (played by Boyd Holbrook) and Javier Peña (played by Pedro Pascal). Annab Khan, Carlo Bernardo, ad Doug Miro, and Chris Brancato, created "Narcos" for Netflix. The famous Brazilian filmmaker, José Padilha has directed the series. The show is famous for its brilliant direction and the execution of the story while maintaining the originality of the real incidences happened at the time of Pablo Escobar.
There are going to be some major changes in the production team of "Narcos" as well. It was reported by THR that the creator of the show, Chris Brancato has left the show for ABC's "Of Kings and Prophets." The showrunner is now replaced with Adam Fierro who will also serve as an executive producer.
