Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel of the blockbuster movie Fifty Shades Of Grey will hit the theatres on 10 February, 2017.

James Foley is reported to be the director of the movie Fifty Shades Darker and EL James is the author the film. Both the sequel and the original version are adaptation of EL James' bestselling erotic novels.

Foley replaces Sam Taylor-Johnson in the sequel despite his contribution to the massive success of the earlier version. Taylor-Johnson and the author had frequent arguments about the making of the upcoming film and the director is reported to have quit the project.

"We battled all the way through," Taylor-Johnson explained. "She'd say the same. There were tough times and revelatory times. There were sparring contests. It was definitely not an easy process. I kept trying to remind myself that they hired me for a reason."

He added, "Some people said to me, 'I'm surprised you haven't quit.' I was like, 'Why would you think I'd quit?' I never quit anything. Not without a fight."

Henry Cavil was rumored to play the role of Anastasia's boss Jake Hyde in the sequel which was denied by the producer Dana Brunetti. The producer noted that the film is nowhere close to decide casting and they haven't thought of anything like that. He further added that they haven't hired a casting director aboard yet.

"It's so insane," Brunetti said. "Somebody posts something on some obscure blog and then it gets picked up by something a little less obscure and it keeps going. Fans are starting the news by saying things like [the Cavill casting]," he added, reported E online.

As of now it is quite clear that Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan would play the lead roles and the most awaited flick Fifty Shades Darker will hit the screens around the world on 10, February 2017.
