Many Koreans return to their ancestral homelands to celebrate the three-day harvest festival known as Chuseok and most celebrities take a break from their activities during this time period.

An article published by TV Report examined the holiday plans of five popular K-pop idols- Miss A's Suzy, Yoona of Girl's Generation, 4Minute's Hyuna, IU, and G-Dragon of Big Bang.

According to the article, Suzy, Yoona, IU, and Hyuna will dedicate time to spend with their family members, while G-Dragon continues to embark on the Taiwan leg of Big Bang's MADE tour.

Miss A's Suzy, who recently denied reports of a breakup with Hallyu star Lee Min Ho, will spend time with her family and friends.

"She will sit with her family for a long time and will spend a time of healing," said the TV Report writer, in response to her relentless schedule.

TV Report noted that Suzy embarked on a non-stop schedule, following promotional activities surrounding the March 2015 release of the Miss A mini album, "Colors." Suzy contributed to the "Time We Were Not in Love" soundtrack and portrayed Jin Chae Sun in the period musical film, "The Hymn."

She is preparing for her K-Drama comeback opposite Kim Woo Bin in the 2016 romantic comedy, "Carelessly Affectionate."

Girls' Generation member Yoona will also use Chuseok as a time for rest and catching up with loved ones.

"According to the agency, this Chuseok, there seems to be a long period to have a good time to get together with relatives," said the TV Report writer.

In addition to her activities with Girls' Generation, which has included the release of "Lion Heart" and "Catch Me If You Can," Yoona was involved in the lengthy filming of a Chinese drama.

IU received increased attention following the completion of the recent "Infinite Challenge" music festival.

"IU will also stay at home and rest," said the writer for TV Report.

In addition to her participation in "Infinite Challenge," she garnered acclaim for her portrayal of Cindy, a disaffected idol in "Producer."

4Minute's Hyuna will join her family and two brothers for the holiday. She maintained a busy schedule with the group in support of "Crazy," before making a comeback as a solo artist.

TV Report then noted that G-Dragon would spend the holiday with Big Bang as they toured throughout Taiwan.

After the completion of the Taiwanese shows, Big Bang is scheduled to return to Korea before embarking on their North American tour, which will make stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Anaheim, New Jersey, and Toronto.

Big Bang and G-Dragon have been incredibly active throughout the second portion of 2015, as the group released four sequential parts of the "MADE" album. G-Dragon was also a participant in the "Infinite Challenge" music festival, along with Taeyang.
