The last news fans have heard about Josh Duggar is that he entered a faith-based rehabilitation center to address his alleged addiction.
Last May, it has been publicized that Josh Duggar was accused of molesting five females when he was a young teenager, some of whom are his sisters. The PR tragedy for the former "19 Kids and Counting" star only got worse by the news that he has been outed as a client of Ashley Madison - a dating website for those willing to cheat on their partners.
Though the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggars' kids issued a public apology and entered a faith-based rehab, a source claimed that Josh is allegedly not remorseful for his acts.
"No remorse. He is not the person everyone thought they knew," a Duggar Family insider told Entertainment Tonight, as quoted in a previous news article. "Anna didn't check up on Josh because she trusted him. When she found out about the cheating, she just cried."
The news that Josh is allegedly not getting better in rehab may not surprise clinical psychologists. According to an addiction expert, a "faith-based" rehab may not be the best option for such a case.
"Josh Duggar is a sick man who needs professional help from licensed therapists and doctors. He is currently being treated at Reformers Unanimous, which is described as a 'faith-based' Christian rehab for addicts," addiction expert Steven Ornstein previously told Hollywood Life.
"My concern is if Josh is getting professional help from licensed therapists and medical doctors? If not, his life could be in danger," Ornstein added.
Most personalities who get involved in negative publicity related to sex decide to cash in on the scandal by releasing a sex tape. Will Josh do the same?
Even if he wanted to, it seems that it will be hard for him to find a marketer.
"Josh Duggar is an admitted child molester and therefore we would never ever have anything to do with him!" Steve Hirsch of celebrity porn video seller Vivid Entertainment previously told Hollywood Life as published in a previous article.
Vivid was the marketer behind the sex tapes of Kim Kardashian and Ray J, and Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.
