With a teaser being released quite some back "The Revenant" trailer is officially out yesterday.
"The Revenant" trailer that is released yesterday is close to three minutes in length which unveils the plot of the movie like we have never imagined before. If rumors are to be believed the "The Revenant" filming is nothing but a living hell of a shoot. It is widely rumoured that many of the crew members quit from the film not being able to endure the freezing Canadian wilderness, according to The Guardian.
It is believed that the crew had to face the ordeal because of the cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki's earnest love for natural light and director Alejandro González Iñárritu's efforts on limiting the use of extensive CGI.
The plot that is set to be happening in1823 features Leonardo DiCaprio playing Frontiersman Hugh Glass who is separated from his people and left alone in the extreme cold. He is betrayed by a disloyal employee John Fitzgerald played by Tom Hardy buries Glass alive yet he survives the ordeal. In "The Revenant" Trailer, Glass grieves over his little son for a moment and later it feels like he is alive.
Glass survives the impossible for a number of reasons including his son, family, need for revenge and so on. The trailer as such looks amazing to watch and it is definitely an A-list of Oscar nominations, bare minimum for the breath-taking cinematography.
The official synopsis of the movie "In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team," reported Digital Trends.
"In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption ..." noted the synopsis.
