Kdrama actors and actresses certainly get to have some fun at work. But if you plot revenge, enjoy a love triangle or dress in period costume for a living, what do you do for fun after hours?

A few popular actors don't hit the couch after a long stretch on the set. They prefer to enjoy strenuous hobbies in their down time. For example, Lee Chung Ah, who starred in "Flower Boy Ramen Shop," had a cameo in "Dating Agency: Cyrano" and plays Oh Dah Jung in "Wonderful Mama," likes to skateboard and she's good at it.

Lee Si Young, who appeared in "Boys Over Flowers," may look delicate but she is an amateur boxer. She took up the sport in her late 20s, as part of her preparation for a drama, but then she stuck with it and has won several amateur titles. She earned her most recent title in April when she won the women's 48-kg title at the National Amateur Boxing Championships.

Krystal Jung is known as a singer and actress. She recently signed on to appear in the upcoming drama "The Heirs" with Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye and Choi Jin Hyuk. But she's also a gifted ice-skater. Two years ago she competed on the "Kim Yuna's Kiss and Cry," a skating reality show. She and her partner won the competition.

Kim Nam Gil, who stars in "Shark," has various hobbies including playing the flute, tap-dancing, water skiing and Taekwondo. But if that is not enough to fill up his spare time, he can always spend a few hours at horseback riding, sword fighting and archery, which he learned for his role as Bidam in the historical drama "Queen Seonduk."

Song Seung Hoon, who recently starred in "When A Man Loves," plays basketball, swims and skis. Although he often daydreams about becoming a professional athlete, playing either soccer or golf, he has no intention of quitting his day job.

Quite a few Korean celebrities combine their after-hours love of sports with the chance to do a charitable good deed. A celebrity soccer team of Korean entertainers called FC Men has raised funds for causes such as aiding earthquake victims. Headed by Kim Junsu of the band JYJ, players have included such celebrities as Kim Hyun Joong of "Boys Over Flowers" and "Playful Kiss," Lee Wan, who appeared in "Swallow the Sun," Yoon Doo Joon, the Beast singer who appeared in "Iris 2," and Yoon Sang Hyun, who played Oska in "Secret Garden" and currently stars in "I Hear Your Voice."
