Prominent American musician John Legend and his wife, supermodel Chrissy Teigen are expecting their first baby. Teigen happily announced the good news on Instagram, on Monday, October 12, exclaiming it was finally happening.

Legend met Teigen for the first time on the sets of his music video "Stereo" in the year 2007. They reportedly dated for four years before getting engaged to each other in December 2011. Eventually got married in September 2013 in a ceremony held at Lake Como, Italy.
Conceiving hasn't been easy for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
The couple had been facing problems getting pregnant. Teigen and Legend had been trying to have a baby for quite some time, but the process had not been easy for them.
"I wanted to talk about it for so long," Teigen told People "It didn't feel right to ever tweet, 'Ugh, doing my IVF shots again. It just sounded silly. It definitely was not planned in that episode at all."
The inquiries from people, unaware of their fertility struggles, about starting their family had been difficult to answer for the couple. However Teigen disclosed about having troubles in getting pregnant few months back publicly on the Tyra Banks television show "FabLife" putting an end to wild speculations, Teigen said
"We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened." "It's been a process. We've seen fertility doctors," she added according to CNN.

Legend and Teigen are highly excited about the big news and are preparing themselves for parenthood. Teigen has already set a few ground rules on child care and parenting and is looking forward to a big family with three or four kids in the near future.
