It has been almost two years since actress Han Ga In starred in "The Moon Embracing The Sun" and now she is considering a new role in an SBS weekend drama with the working title, "Married Three Times."

The 50-episode drama will follow the lives of a mother and her two daughters. Han Ga In is considering the role of the younger daughter.

A representative from BH Entertainment, her management agency, confirmed her interest in the role, saying that there is a strong probability that she will take the role.

"They have had some definite talks in that direction," said the representative. "And it is likely that she will appear in it. She hasn't signed any contracts yet. They are going to have some more talks."

"Married Three Times" is written by Kim Soo Hyun, the screenwriter responsible for the dramas "A Thousand Days' Promise," "Life Is Beautiful," "My Man's Woman," "Childless Comfort" and "Men of the Bath House." Kim Soo Hyun is known for having a golden touch when it comes to creating successful dramas and part of the formula for that success is making careful casting decisions.

The decision to cast Han Ga In is considered by many to be a strong vote of support in her acting abilities. The actress struggled for many years to overcome the image that she was just a pretty face. Because of her initial success as a model in commercials, she found it hard to be taken seriously as an actress.

She did win praise for her acting skills in the drama "Bad Guy" when she worked hard to portray a determined social climber. Last year was her most successful year so far, as she earned rave reviews for her appearance in the hit historical drama "The Moon Embracing The Sun." The drama was so popular that it achieved 40 percent ratings by the time it ended. She played Yeon Woo, the tragic princess turned shaman, alongside Kim Soo Hyun. Her role as Yang Seo Yeon in the romance film "Architecture 101" also got great reviews and the film broke box office records.

Director Jung Eul Young worked together with screenwriter Kim Soo Hyun on "Childless Comfort," "A Thousand Days Promise" and "Life is Beautiful." He also directed "Precious Family" and "Picnic Girl."

"Married Three Times' will replace "Goddess of Marriage" in November.
