Naomie Harris who stars in the recent Daniel Craig "James Bond" flick has defended his co-star that he had just been sarcastic and humorous about playing Bond in his next acting role. Otherwise, Craig is fond of his characters in the movies.

Harris who will be reprising her role as Moneypenny in the upcoming "James Bond" film, "Spectre" has come to rescue of his co-star Craig that he "lives and breathes Bond." Craig had noted in a recent interview that he would rather slash his wrist than to return as "James Bond" for the fifth time, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"Now? I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all," Craig told Time Out London when he was asked about being Bond in his next movie. "That's fine. I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on," he added.

Craig also added that he has spent two years of his life for the upcoming film "Spectre" and he needs a break in big time. The noted that he has to spend quality time with his family who are already displeased with him on such issues. Craig who prefers not to relive Bond in his fifth movie said that he hasn't got the answer for the query that's lodged in people's mind yet.

"It was not as he intended it... [his] sense of humor... doesn't come across particularly well in print," said Harris in a report by BBC . He's so dedicated to his craft and he loves playing Bond," she added.

"It's easy to take something that someone says in passing and blow it completely out of proportion. I think that's what's happened here, so I don't really believe those comments at all," noted Harris.
