Joo Won, star of "Bridal Mask," "Level 7 Civil Servant" and the upcoming drama "Good Doctor," confessed that he was once mistaken for actor Kang Dong Won, who appears in the film "Kundo" and starred in the film, "Jeon Woo Chi." It happened before Joo Won's debut and gave him an early taste of what celebrity would hold for him.

He was at a concert when a fan yelled, "It's Kang Dong Won" and fans crowded around him.
"The students really thought I was Kang Dong Won and took my things," said Joo Won. "My friend, who was with me at the time, was so shocked that he tried to protect me, causing the fans to believe he was the manager and I was really Kang Dong Won. More fans rushed towards us."

Since then fans have had plenty of chances to see Joo Won on screen and might easily be able to tell the difference but it's not the first time that kdrama actors or kpop stars have been mistaken for each other. Many have similar attractive features, so from a distance or in a crowd it's no wonder fans get confused.

Here are a few celebrities that have on occasion been mistaken for each other:

2PM's Lee Junho, who plays Detective Daramjwi in the hit film "Cold Eyes," has been confused with singer-actor Bi Rain, who starred in Full House.

Some say Lee Jun Ki, who will star in the new drama "Two Weeks," resembles 2PM's Jang WooYoung, who appeared in "Dream High."

Lee Sun Kyun, who appeared as a composer in "Coffee Prince" and the master chef "Pasta" has been confused with Park Gun Hyung, who played the blind date doctor in "I Do I Do" and appears as master ceramic artist Lee Yook Do in "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji."

Lee Jin Wook, who starred in "Nine: Nine Time Travels" is sometimes confused with Bae Soo Bin, who appeared in "49 Days" and "Brilliant Legacy." People also confuse him with Kang Ji Hwan who starred in the drama, "Lie to Me." If you compare them closely, they don't really have much in common except rugged good looks.

Actresses are also sometimes confused with other actresses and kpop stars. Being considered one of the most beautiful Korean actresses has not kept Kim Tae Hee, star of "Jang Ok Jung," from being confused with Tara's Park Ji Yeon.

Some say Lee Si Young, who appeared in "Wild Romance" and "Playful Kiss" looks like Baek Ji Young, the singer known as the "Queen of the Ost."

Which actors do you think resemble other actors or kpop stars? Let us know.
