Alexander Skarsgard and his girlfriend British TV presenter Alexa Chung have reportedly been dating for months now.
The couple was recently spotted on a rare outing in New York.
"The Swedish actor and the British model are seen walking close to each other," E! Online reported. "Chung is wearing a black printed T-shirt, ripped blue skinny jeans and long light gray wool jacket and is holding a cigarette, while Skarsgård sports a dark gray T-shirt, matching jeans and a dark blue baseball cap."
Are Alexander Skarsgard and Alexa Chung so serious in their relationship that the "True Blood" alum would want his girlfriend to be his wife soon?
It may be too early to say at this time, especially since the Swedish-born actor and his girlfriend have been keeping a low profile.
Before Alexa Chung started dating Alexander Skarsgard, the TV admitted to Marie Claire that dating her could be somewhat challenging.
"I don't like being told what to do," Alexa Chung said during the interview, as quoted by Hello Magazine.
"And I don't want to be penned in. I don't want to feel I have to be anywhere ... I am quite restless. It makes me a nightmare to date, I think."
It seems that the "True Blood" actor is ready to take on that "nightmare," as Alexa would call it.
Rumors of Alexa Chung being Alexander Skarsgard's girlfriend sparked when an NYC comedienne Haley Sacks twitted a photo of the two's date in a coffee shop in February.
Haley posted a photo of Alexa grabbing some toast with Alexander in February.
"I try not to post blurry pictures on Instagram BUT I am in the middle of breaking an important celebrity news story and so rules don't really apply," Haley reportedly posted on Twitter, as quoted by Yahoo! Celebrity.
"That is Alexa Chung! I just saw her with Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood. They were eating avocado toast and rubbing each other's lower backs. No one knows they are dating yet except ME and now you. I just feel like I have to tell you bc Brian Williams never will. Okay signing off now. Go tell ten people or you'll have bad luck forever."
