Cha Tae Hyun will serve as the emcee for the 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards.

On November 3, OSEN confirmed his appearance as a host at the upcoming award ceremony.

Cha recently revitalized his K-Drama career through his portrayal of Ra Joon Mo, a hapless variety show producer-director, in the hit weekend series, "Producer."

While his co-stars Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun, and IU have yet to confirm their attendance at the 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards, speculation continues to surround potential nominations for the series.

In addition to potentially receiving honors through KBS, "Producer" demonstrates its impact on Korean entertainment through the upcoming Grand Bell Awards, where Kim Soo Hyun and Gong Hyo Jin maintain a significant lead over their competitors in the Popularity vote.

In addition to starring in the popular docu-drama, Cha is a fixed cast member on the KBS variety series, "2 Days & 1 Night," along with Kim Jong Min, Kim Joo Hyuk, Defconn, Kim Joon Ho, and rocker Jung Joon Young.

Cha previously received honors at the KBS Entertainment Awards for his work with "2 Days & 1 Night." He was also recognized for his on-air hosting of "Mr. Radio," with the Radio DJ Award in 2007.

The 39-year-old actor experienced his breakout role opposite Jun Ji Hyun in the 2001 comedy, "My Sassy Girl." In May 2015, he reprised the role of Gyun Woo for the Korean-Chinese sequel, "My New Sassy Girl."

The 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards has the potential to deliver thrilling end-of-the-year programming for both drama and variety show fans.
