"Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise is about to set a new trend in the film business. The franchise is going to produce the last two flicks from the trilogy simultaneously, according to International Business Times. The final two parts of the movie franchise are named as "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed."

This new trend of producing two movies at a time is actually not very new for the Universal Productions. Earlier many movies in have been produced and released likewise, reported Realtytoday. Movie series like "Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings trilogy and Matrix," have undergone the same strategy.

The film is based on the novels of EL James, a novelist and will be directed by James Foley, Hollywood director. The movies will be produced under "Universal studios" banner by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti. The duo was also the producer of the earlier flick "Fifty Shades of Grey."

The screenplay for the erotic romance thriller movies will be written by EL James's better half , Niall Leonard who will work on mostly the thriller based elements for the films.

The upcoming set of movies will feature the original lead pair Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey, a prosperous tycoon and Anastasia Steele, a university student, reported International Business Times.

The plot in the flick is supposed to be a thriller with Christian Grey trying to woo back his lady love Anastasia, whose character will be shown struggling between her new job and a new boss. Anastasia will be shown in a state of confusion between Grey and her new boss, who will also show interest in her.

The first release from the series, "Fifty Shades Darker" is supposed to hit the theatres on February 10, 2017 and the next part "Fifty Shades Freed" will be released on February 9, 2018, reported Latin Post.
