Google has recently launched an update for its instant communication platform "Google Hangouts," according to NeuroGadget.com. The new update promises to improvise the quality of the video calls made through this application and also enhance user experience.

Eduardo Fernandez, Software Engineer at Google, described the increased functionalities of the app with the help of new update, according to NDTV. He said that the most important functionality of the latest update was to create ease while the app is being used. The update will help to improve the quality of video calls with provision of high quality images and also provide users with an instinctual user interface.

The update for "Hangouts" also consists of a feature where users can select the type of interface, old or new, according to their choice. The most promising functionality of the new update for official use is that it provides users to join meetings via "Hangouts" even the person doesn't have a account to log in; just an invitation for the meeting will suffice, reported The Herald Voice.com.

For sending invitations to such users, only calendar app will be needed, where names can be entered one by one and invitation can be sent. Also, people may be able to block the less interested people from the meeting group.

Ezra Gottheil, research analyst, said that the new update for Hangout is very accommodating. She said that the new feature of invitations to meeting without necessity of Google account looks promising. "Google account is mandatory to organizers of the meeting, but those that they are going to invite don't need to have one to access 'Google Hangouts'," said Ezra, as quoted by Latinpost.com.

The "Hangouts" update was also introduced with the Google+ update for bug fixing and has now rolled out on the shelves on November 17. The latest version has included changes for the "send button" with changes in user access and interface.
