Speculation are being made that the "Half Life 3", sci-fi shooting video game's development has been pushed back and "Left 4 Dead 3", survival video game has been given priority over it, according to Christian Today. The news is surfacing as the developer of the game Valve Corporation shifted as many as 100 of its employees for the development of other games.

The zombie shooter game is slated for its release in 2017 which makes the delay in development of the single player game visible, reported the International Business Times. The rumors also suggest that the development of the science fiction game can even be called off.

The fiction game has been reportedly given priority as it is a multi-player game, which Valve corporation sees as a profit generation feature. Surely it has a high weightage over "Half Life" series which is a single player version and also does not guarantee whether it will live up to its expectation.

According to Master Herald, the gaming company is currently gaining major profits from multi-player games like "Dota 2" and "Counterstrike" on its online game streaming platform and does not want to invest heavily on a single player game.

It is also speculated that zombie shooter multi-player game will bank on excellent graphics and game strategies, which may lead to its higher popularity in the gaming world and indirectly affect the remaining life of "Half Life 3."

The gaming company has not officially commented on any of the specific details about both the games, but has been working on building the online network community for their games. The company recently introduced their Steam machines, controller and steam links which are all available on Steam, where gamers can play their favorite game and download its updates at ease.

The writer of the gaming series, Chet Faliszek recently negated the possibility about the shooting game's availability on the Virtual Reality platform, reported the PC Gamer.
