Amazon Follows Walmart With Discounts Eight Days Ahead Of Black Friday 2015

Amazon Inc., Retail Company has launched its "Black Friday 2015" deals almost eight days prior to the much awaited Thanksgiving Day, according to The USA Today.

The retail giant announced that all its offers and deals for the D-day will be listed out from November 20, creating a buzz among the shopaholics. Amazon has promised of best deals and offers to be marked on its website every five minutes, under "Lightning Deals" tab. Amazon Prime members have been given a 30 minute early priority access for the "Black Friday" deals, before they are listed out for the non-Amazon Prime members.

The company has also decided to introduce ten "Deals of the Day" on Thanksgiving and next slot of ten offers on Friday. The best deals and offers from Amazon vary in different categories like electronic gadgets, mobile phones, fitness devices and home appliances, reported The USA Today.

Also the company has decided to go for few app-only deals, which would be exclusively available for Amazon's mobile application users. "Customers can truly sit back and relax with their family and friends this holiday season knowing that they will be notified as soon as the products they've had their eye on are about to go on sale," said Steve Shure, Amazon's vice president of consumer marketing, as quoted by The Wired.

Kindle Paperwhite, an e-book reader device is listed just for 99.99. The company's own products like Fire TV streaming stick and 7-inch Fire Android tablet are available at discounted price of $24.99 and $34.99 respectively. The 32-inch TCL Roku Smart TV is listed for $125, while Roku's 55-inch Smart TV is available for $348. Vizio's 2.1 home theater sound devices are marked for price of $79.99.

Jawbone's fitness tracker device, UP3 is also available at a discounted price of $99. Gaming consoles like Xbox One and PlayStation 4 Uncharted bundle, both are listed with a fifty percent discount of their original price, reported The Mirror.

Amazon is the latest retail company to join the lineup and adopt the strategy of starting the sale prior to a week's time, after Walmart and Target announced their "Cyber Week" extravaganza.
