Sofia Vergara, Hollywood actress and television star married Joe Manganiello, actor and director on November 22, according to Daily Mail.
The wedding ceremony took place at the "Breakers Resort" in Palm Beach, Florida in the presence of their family members and close friends. The wedding was followed by a late-night reception party, where many celebrities marked their presence to wish the newlywed couple.
Sofia's wedding dress was studded with six pounds of pearls, 11 pounds of sequins and was designed by favorite dress designer, Zuhair Murad. She completed the look with 55 carat diamond earrings. "I know that I don't like the natural look that some brides do. I'm 43; I don't really need to look like a virgin getting married. I want to look sexy. I want to look great," said Sofia, People reported.
According to Los Angeles Times, Sofia walked down the aisle with her son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, 23 from her first wedding. Joe and Sofia set an example by asking their guests, via their wedding invitation, to make donations to selected charities instead of bringing gifts.
The celebrations for Sofia and Joe's marriage started a day before the D-day, with pool party, rehearsal of the actual wedding and also a pre-wedding party for the guests, where Manganiello sang a song "Sweet Child O' Mine" from Guns N' Roses' for Sofia, reported Hollywood Life.
Many renowned celebrities made it to the couple's wedding celebrations. Channing Tatum with his wife Jenna Dewan, Anna Paquin with her husband Stephen Moyer attended from Joe's side while Reese Witherspoon, Ariel Winter, Julie Brown, Jesse Taylor Ferguson and Sarah Hyland appeared from Vergara's side.
The "Modern Family" actress started dating Joe after she broke up with her then fiancé Nick Loeb. Joe had proposed her on 2014's Christmas Eve by gifting a $500,000 engagement ring.
