Holly Holm, U.S mixed martial artist is ready for a rematch with Ronda Rousey, ex-boxing champion in Ultimate Fighting Championship, according to The Daily Mail.

Holly defeated Ronda at the fighting contest; UFC193 held on Nov.15 to win the title under Bantamweight division and became the new champion of the contest.

Holm knocked out the former boxing champion in the second round of their match. She kicked Ronda with her left leg on the head, gaining an edge over her.

Even though the current champion, Holly is soaked in glory, she has been humble even after her win to admit that Rousey will always be a role model to women, who want to take up mixed martial art as their profession, reported SB Nation.

In an interview with The New York Times, Holly said that she would welcome a match between her and Ronda and that she will defeat her ten times out of ten, if given a chance. She explained that to be mentally strong she needs to be focused and confident enough of her own game at present.

Holly said that she would need to train hard for the rematch, as it would be a tough match. "She's a competitive person, and we all know that. She's mad that it's not her title anymore. I've got to be twice as ready as last time. She'll be coming back hard," said Holly Holm on her rematch with Ronda Rousey, as quoted by Rolling Stone.

According to International Business Times, Holm also described her journey to achieve the UFC title, as a challenging one. Holly said that she had to try out different styles of boxing, before gaining mastery in her current form.

Holly is happy that she finally knocked out Ronda in the championship. She even admitted that Rousey has been a dominant champion for a long time, because of her own potential. A rematch between the two champions is yet to be slated down.
