"Annyeonghaseyo!"

Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwak opened the Busan International Film Festival with greetings in Korean.

The 18th Busan International Film Festival took place on October 3, 2013 in the outdoor theater of Busan Film Center.

Aaron Kwok was invited to the Busan International Film Festival for playing the lead role in the movie "Cold War," released last year. This year, he took the role of a host at the Busan International Film Festival. He is the second international star to host BIFF since Tang Wei, who hosted the 17th festival with An Sung Gi.

Aaron Kwok wore a black suit and bowtie with a purple handkerchief.

Aaron Kwok got on stage with his partner Kang Su Yeon and gave his greetings in Korean saying, "Hello, I'm Kwak Bu Sung (Aaron Kwok's Korean name)."

Aaron Kwok added in Chinese, "This is my third visit to Busan, a gorgeous city with beautiful seashore. I am much honored to open the Busan International Film Festival this year as a host."

Aaron Kwok hosted the rest of the festival in Chinese with Kang Su Yeon, unlike Tang Wei who hosted in fluent English. After the opening ceremony, which lasted an hour or so, Khyentse Rinpoche's movie "Bara: Celebration" screening took place.

The Busan International Film Festival is to take place until October 12, 2013, in Busan Film Center, Haeundae, and Nampo Dong.
