Actress Ha Ji Won will lend her sparkling personality to the Christmas decoration lighting ceremony scheduled for December 1 at Hong Kong International Airport.
The event, hosted by Swarovski, marks the beginning of the winter holiday season. According to her management agency, Haewadal Entertainment, Ha Ji-won is the only Korean star who was invited to the ceremony.
According to the Korean media outlet, The Star, the actress will participate in a photoshoot for Cosmopolitan Hong Kong after the ceremony and also give a few prescheduled interviews.
Reporters will no doubt ask a few questions about her upcoming film "Risking Life For Love." The Korean-Chinese production began its three-month shoot in Seoul in September.
"Risking Life For Love" stars Ha Ji Won and Chun Jung Myung as well as Taiwanese actor and superstar Bolin Chen. The film has been described as a romantic comedy with some thriller elements since it involves a serial murder case.
Ha Ji Won plays a mystery novelist who becomes curious about a real-life murder case. She's so enthusiastic about solving mysteries that she finds herself chasing a killer. Chun Jung Myung is a detective and her long-time friend. Bolin Chen plays a mysterious man that she falls in love with.
Ironically, Bolin Chen played the Lee Jin Wook role in the original Chinese version of "The Time I Didn't Love You, 7,000 Days." He also appeared in the films Chinese Zodiac," Kung Fu Dunk" and "Distance." His drama roles include "Crystal Boys" and "Sonic Youth." "Risking Life For Love" is the actor's debut into Chinese entertainment.
Ha Ji Won is a popular star in China, having appeared in the dramas "Empress Ki," with Joo Jin Mo and Ji Chang Wook; "Secret Garden"with Hyun Bin and "The King 2 Hearts," with Lee Seung Gi. She also appeared in several films, including the recent "Chronicles of a Blood Merchant."
Chun Jung Myung last appeared in the dramas "Reset" and "Heart To Heart."
"Risking Life For Love" also stars Oh Jung Se, Yoon So Hee, Song Min Jung, Kim Won Hae and Jung Hae Kyun.
"Risking Life For Love" will premiere in 2016.
