The Federal Government recently rejected American singer, Chris Brown's Visa application to visit Australia, according to ABC News.
Chris had eventually cancelled all his scheduled tours in Australia and New Zealand, where he had earlier planned to perform on December 9.
"Ticketek," New Zealand and Australian Event Management Company, confirmed the cancellation news on their website. The fans who have bought the tickets have been promised of a full refund and all the online bookings are completely shut down.
Brown was informed in late September by the Immigration Minister, Peter Dutton, to submit documents regarding the immigration process. Chris was well informed about the consequences of not doing the required formalities.
According to The Guardian, Chris has been denied visa on the account of charges against him for domestic violence. He had attacked his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 by beating her black and blue in his car.
Brown had also threatened to kill her. Rihanna was found by the road side by the police officials with swollen face, blackened eyes and bruises all over her body.
Brown was eventually found guilty and sentenced to a five years' probation. He appealed later to the Federal Government asking to lift his ban from visiting Australia.
"I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness about domestic violence," tweeted Brown in September, Business Standard reported. "My life mistakes should be a wake-up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don't define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse."
Chris has apologized to all his fans and promised to perform soon in Australia and New Zealand. All the promoters which were involved with Brown's music tour, are still positive about his return to Australia for another concert.
Chris was supposed to tour Perth, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand and perform songs from his hit albums like "F.A.M.E, Fortune and X."
Brown's tour comprised of performance at "Perth Arena" on December 9, "Rod Laver Arena" on December 12, "Allphones Arena" on December 14 and "Brisbane Entertainment center" on December 16 in Australia. In New Zealand, he was supposed to perform at "Vector Arena" in Auckland, reported Billboard.
