During the press conference for "Future's Choice" last October 10, CNBLUE's Yonghwa shared the struggles he faced in portraying a chaebol character for the first time.
According to the actor, "The script used to cause stress for me. My character was described as someone who "looks classy while eating udon", but how do you eat udon in a classy manner?"
He portrayed the characters Kang Shinwoo in the drama "You're Beautiful" and Lee Shin in the drama "Heartstrings" who were both cool and popular musicians. Being Park Se Ju in this drama is a new venture for Yonghwa.
However, he seemed to be getting used to the chaebol life. "Filming with Go Doo Shim was a lot of fun."
Yonghwa was also asked what he thinks of his members being casted in dramas, and to rank his members in terms of their acting skills.
"We don't really care whether or not a member does well in acting, we just make fun of each other a lot," joked Yonghwa, who is also the leader of their band.
All of the CNBLUE members have participated in dramas. Their drummer Minhyuk is also currently casted in the drama "The Heirs".
"Future's Choice" is the new Monday-Tuesday KBS drama and it airs on October 14.
