The action role-playing game "Dishonored 2" is all set to release on its pre-decided timing in spring 2016, according to Cross Map.

There were rumors that the game's release date will be delayed till 2017. But recently the pre-orders for the game have been initiated online by Bethesda, which have put the rumors to rest for the time being.

Geek Snack reported that Target, retailer is currently offering the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of Dishonored 2 at a pre-order price of $20.

Yibada reported that Amazon has listed Dishonored 2 at a pre-order price of $59.96. The product's description also suggest that all those players who will pre-order the game will receive their game delivery after it is shipped out on December 30, 2016.

The gameplay of the next installment of Dishonored gaming series is rumored to be similar to that of the earlier version. The new game will feature Corvo Attano and Empress Emily Kaldwin and both will be shown on a journey to Karnaca, after their throne was captured by their enemy.

The main focus of the game is speculated to be on empress Emily as her character was not an active one in the previous installment. It is also rumored that the game storyline will be showcased 15 years after "The Dunwall Plague" crisis and also will feature the anarchy after the dethroning of Kaldwin, reported Parent Herald.

There are speculations that Emily will take lessons from Corvo Attano to become an assassin and try to recapture the throne from the enemies.

Venture Capital Post reported that the game is also rumored to receive a new title as a marketing strategy to promote the game with new zest and increase its popularity. The game will be released at a flexible date next year, as many new game releases are lined up for 2016.

The stealth role-playing game, Dishonored 2 is being developed and published by Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks and will be made available on Xbox One, PlayStation and Windows gaming consoles.
