If past dating scandals are any indication it's easy for rumors to get started. A k-celeb goes shopping with friends and then suddenly everyone thinks they are living together. Or at the very least dating.
That's what happened to actress Lee Sung Kyung, currently playing a spoiled rich girl in "Cheese In The Trap."
When the 25-year-old actress appeared on the January 5 edition of tvN's "Taxi" she spoke about the dating rumors that have circulated concerning her and Block B's Zico. She appeared on the show with her "Cheese In The Trap" co-star Seo Kang Joon. In that drama he plays her troubled brother.
So, how did the rumors with Block B's Zico start?
She felt the need to explain because she heard fans were talking about it.
"I recently moved from my parents' home to my own place and I needed furniture so I went to Nonhyun Dong to look for some," said lee. "I saw Zico and a friend at a restaurant, so I stopped by to say hello and they said they would come along. The three of us went to look at furniture and the store's employee posted the news that we were there online."
So, they were not shopping for furniture for their place? Not really, since Lee says she is not planning to date him. It's not even a possibility."
"We don't see each other that way."
Next she was asked if she might consider dating her co-star Seo Kang Joon, who was last seen in the historical drama "Splendid Politics." Between Zico or 5urprise member Seo Kang Joon, who would she be more likely to date? The answer was neither.
"I'll just stay single," she said.
Lee Sung Kyung was previously rumored to be dating Lee Kwang Soo, her co-star in "It's Okay, That's Love." Quite a few viewers shipped this couple because of their solid onscreen chemistry.
When she appeared on "Running Man," Yoo Jae Suk even referred to her as "Lee Kwang Soo's special person."
Neither star confirmed nor denied that they were more than friends.
