Actress Jun Ji Hyun's due date is in February. But while she is looking forward to the birth of her child, she may also be considering a sequel to the popular k-drama "You Who Came From The Stars."

The Korean media outlet OSEN recently reported that the "You Who Came From The Stars" writer Park Ji Eun is planning a new drama with Jun Ji Hyun's management agency. The new drama might be a sequel to the alien-human romance that starred Jun and Kim Soo Hyun.

The possibility of a sequel has been previously discussed. Director Jang Tae Yoo said he planned to make a sequel should the opportunity arise. And the storyline of the original drama created plenty of possibilities.

By the end of the original drama it seemed that Kim Soo Hyun's character Do Min Joon could back and forth between his planet and earth so maybe he could travel to different times.

"It is possible to make a sequel although I will have to talk with the scriptwriter," said Jang. "Do can be portrayed through diverse eras such as during the Joseon Kingdom, Japanese colonial period, or in the '70s. Maybe Chun Song YI (Jun Ji Hyun's character) might not be Do's first love. I want to make it if possible."

Fans might be disappointed to find out her character was not Do Min Joon's first love.

At any rate Jun Ji Hyun will not be making a drama any time soon as she plans to stay at home for a while after the birth of her baby. The 34-year-old actress has been married to her husband, non-celebrity banker Choi Joon Hyuk, for three years and this will be the couple's first child.

The actress did work while she was present. Jun followed her appearance in the k-drama with a role in the film "Assassination." In that film she played a sniper who is so talented that resistance fighters break her out of jail to assassinate a Japanese army commander. The film is set in the 1930s during the Japanese rule of Korea.

Jun Ji Hyun won the Presidential Citation at the 2015 Culture and Arts Award.
