Kim Soo Hyun Is The Subject Of An Upcoming Mobile Game

Kim Soo Hyun is featured as the main character in an upcoming mobile game that will be released as a co-production by Key East Entertainment subsidiary, Content N and the China-based gaming company, Chukong.

On January 12, 10 Asia reported details surrounding the mobile-based social and dating simulation game titled "Kim Soo Hyun Star Academy," which will target Chinese audiences.

According to 10 Asia, Chukong releases account for 70 percent of China's gaming business, which accounts for more than 100 million users.

The social networking game is centered on the 27-year-old "You Who Came from the Star" actor and includes activities such as photo shoots, as well as, sequences which allow the player to develop in-game dramatic skills through practice and cinematography exercises.

Kim is one of the most recognized figures in Korean entertainment with lucrative endorsements that include internationally distributed brands like The Face Shop and Tous Les Jours.

In 2015, he garnered attention from the Hollywood-centered publication, People, during his visit to the United States for KCON.

His profile continues to rise through the success of his dramatic roles, which continued to gain momentum from his notable appearance as the male lead of the teen musical, "Dream High," followed by the 2012 period romance, "Moon Embracing the Sun."

His most notable character to date is his portrayal of Do Min Joon, a stoic alien who transitions from his quiet life as a college professor to embrace the zany antics of actress Cheon Song Yi in the pan-Asian hit, "You Who Came from the Star."

According to the report, the "Producer" star will contribute his vocals to heighten interest in the application, which will be simultaneously released in China and several other markets, on January 14. The game will be available on iOS and Android.
