The upcoming KBS drama "The Prime Minister and I" has been on everyone's radars after the controversial casting of Lee Bum Soo and Girls' Generation's Yoona for the lead roles.
Adding to this list is Yoon Shi Yoon, who was recently cast in the role of the elite government employee Kang In Ho. A section chief in the prime minister's office, he is considered as one of the best in the government.
"With the addition of Yoon Shi Yoon, the drama will have more exciting moments, and we hope that the viewers will fall in love with his charms as an elite government official," said a representative from the drama.
Yoon Shi Yoon is best known for his role in the drama "Baker King Kim Tak Gu", which reached the 50% viewership rating during its run, and this will mark his return to KBS after three years. He was also seen in "Flower Boy Next Door" and "High Kick Through The Roof", where he played characters with bright and youthful charms, making the viewers anticipate his image for this drama.
"The Prime Minister and I" is a modern take on the classic movie "The Sound of Music", and it will revolve around the warm and fairytale-like romance between the country's prime minister (Lee Bum Soo) and the young tutor of his children (Yoona).
The drama has begun filming, and it is set to air after the run of "Future's Choice".
