Kim Kardashian’s stepdad, Bruce Jenner, has missed out on what other members of the family and some friends witnessed when Kanye West romantically proposed to the reality star, Monday night.
TMZ is reporting that Jenner may have not been invited to Kim’s big day. Not only did the first-time mom celebrate her birthday on Oct 21 but the day also marked another milestone for Kim with another sparkler of rare kind had been slipped to her finger by the father of her daughter, Baby North.
Citing a source who talked to TMZ, KDrama Stars finds top 2 reasons why Kanye West may have not invited Bruce Jenner when he popped the question to his future bride, Kim Kardashian:
1. Bruce still “not excited” Kim dated Kanye
It is an open secret that Kim’s stepdad never really liked the idea that the reality star got romantically involved with the rapper shortly after separating from the NBA player.
It will be recalled that in April last year, Bruce made a statement that he’s “not excited” to see Kimberly on a new relationship. He made the declaration when asked by someone at the audience about Kim’s new love at a speaking engagement in Northeastern University in Boston.
"I'm not that excited, but we'll see. Kimberly and I have had a conversation about them and their potential relationship," Jenner was quoted as saying by TMZ in a separate report.
2. Bruce unhappy Kim separated from Kris
TMZ is saying that Bruce may be still unhappy to be separated from Kris as a result of Kim’s decision to divorce her second husband. A more recent report by the gossip website claimed that Bruce never had a “real conversation” with Kim’s new beau after the split from Kris.
Is it because he simply doesn’t like Kanye or he likes Kris better.
Bruce noted that he likes the rapper but it was just Kim he was worried about.
All is well that must have ended well for Kris’s Jenner soon-to-be-ex-husband. This after Kim, he prefers to call “Kimberly” called him after the romantic proposal at the San Francisco AT & T Stadium. Bruce is Kim’s first call, said report.
Meanwhile, it is not only Bruce who seemed to be in the middle of things following the recent turn of events on the Kardashian clan. Kris’s dad and Kim’s former father-in-law, William Humphries was interviewed by the New York Daily News shortly after Kimye’s romantic baseball stadium engagement.
"I don't really care, it's water under the bridge. But I wish her all best," according to Breathe Cast, citing a report by the New York Daily News.
When asked about Kim’s new engagement ring, Kris’s dad scoffed a reply saying it was probably not Kanye’s idea.
"(West) probably didn't choose it," William Humphries said according to NYDN, before adding. "Does a leopard really change its spots? I don't think so. Not much changes, it's just different actors this time around."
Kim’s new engagement ring was designed by the same jeweler Kris Humphries bought from when he proposed to Kim years ago. Both Kim’s lovers chose Lorraine Schwartz. Kanye slipped a 15-karat rare D, estimated at $8 million while Kris’s bigger engagement ring for Kim costs only $2 million.
