The romantic comedy, "Like for Likes," will premiere for U.S. audiences on February 26, following a special advanced screening hosted by DramaFever.
"In partnership with CJ E&M, DramaFever, will be hosting an advanced screening on February 25 at AMC Empire 25 in New York," said a spokesperson for CJ Entertainment, in a February 12 press release.
The advanced screening will feature specially priced tickets for DramaFever Premium members ($4.99 plus processing fee) and Individual General Admission ($10.99 plus processing fee).
Screening attendees who are not Premium members will receive a free 30-day subscription for attending.
Tickets for the advanced screening can be purchased through DramaFever.
"Like for Likes" examines the evolution of modern romance, as influenced by social media tools like Facebook.
Lee Mi Yeon (Reply 1988) is Cho Kyung Ah, a television writer in her thirties who is a contemptuous spinster. She has bitter exchanges with No Jin Woo, a Hallyu star, played by Yoo Ah In (Veteran, Six Flying Dragons).
The film focuses on two other couples who are at different stages in their lives, including a flight attendant who recently lost her home, portrayed by Choi Ji Woo (Twenty Again) and a middle-aged man who is dumped by his fiance, played by Kim Joo Hyuk (Reply 1988).
Rising actor Kang Ha Neul, who has appeared in dramas like "Miseang" and "The Heirs," along with the coming of age flick, "Twenty," rounds out the cast with Esom.
"Like for Likes" premieres in 17 theaters throughout North America on February 26 with screenings in cities including New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Dallas.
